From the moment I met Katy through email and we shared our love for Tex-Mex, I knew this was going to be a good match. Katy and Mark are just absolutely wonderful people. Katy is energetic and beyond sweet. Mark is so funny and together they are such a power couple. It was great to see how emotional they got the first time they spent a moment together before the ceremony. And throughout the entire day, you could just tell that they are truly best friends. I am so happy that I was able to capture their beautiful Cheyenne Mountain Country Club Wedding while working under Catherine Lea Photography.
CHEYENNE MOUNTAIN COUNTRY CLUB
Ok so this wedding venue is one of the most quaint and beautiful hidden gems in Colorado Springs. When looking at wedding venues for your Colorado Springs wedding, this venue for sure needs to be on your list. It’s nestled close to the mountains and has such a home like vibe to it. THE WEDDING DAY
This wedding day started out so chill. Katy rented out an adorable airbnb near the venue to get ready at. It was absolutely perfect. Airbnbs are great spots to utilize for a bridal suite if you cannot utilize your venues. From the airbnb we headed to the venue and got to capture some really gorgeous portraits of the bridal party and do a sweet first touch between Katy and Mark. Not going to lie it was SO sweet and tears were definitely flowing. There are so many wonderful spots for portraits and the ceremony for any Cheyenne Mountain Country Club wedding.
The ceremony was set in the Cheyenne Mountain Country Club’s backyard. Beyond the trees you can see Cheyenne Mountain and it is a beautiful view. During Katy and Marks wedding, a deer just strolled on through, right behind where they were standing. That area of town it is common to see many deer in the area. However that was a first to see a deer walk up during the ceremony! Talk about a beautiful moment. The night ended with a great party with all of their friends and family. So much celebrating with so many amazing people!
