Do it yourself weddings that have a lot of thought put into them, really are some of my favorite weddings to shoot. Aryelle and Josh’s absolutely stunning Austin hill country summer wedding was completely a DIY wedding put together by the bride and groom themselves, with the help of their closest friends and family. This house belonged to a close friend of the families, and it was such a perfect setting for this beautiful hill country wedding. All of the decor and floral arrangements were done by the brides mom and grandma, and everything was set up by the bridal party before getting ready for the wedding. Austin (and much of central Texas) is known for their beautiful trees, and this wedding took full advantage of their beauty. The ceremony took place under two beautiful oak trees next to a pond that was on the property. Their reception was just as beautiful with the house as the back drop on one side, and a beautiful field and tree line as the backdrop just opposite of the house. They couldn’t have picked a more beautiful day to have their wedding either. Although it just might have been hotter than hades that day, it was an absolutely beautiful day. When it started to get dark, the subtle string lights that were hung gave a perfect romantic touch. Here are a few of my favorite images from the Jenkinson Wedding.
