YOU GUYS! Can I please go shoot on harbors all the time?! This had to be the coolest sessions I have done in a while. Not to mention I have known Caitlan for quite some time which made it just that much more fun. When she reached out a few weeks ago saying that she had followed my work for sometime and just loved the sessions I have done and wanted me to do their engagements, I was so incredibly flattered. That absolutely means the world to me. We decided that we would meet for dinner before hand and catch up a bit prior to shooting. We stopped in at Gloria’s, grabbed some margaritas and totally reminisced on all the life stuff over the past few years and they told me all about how they met and their current life together. These two are seriously the cutest and hanging out with them and getting to know Jon and about their life together was wonderful.

Their beautiful lakeside engagement session took place at the Harbor at Rockwall. Seriously… this harbor is phenomenal! So many shops and restaurants and of course being on the water on a beautiful day, you really can’t beat that.  If you haven’t been out there I definitely recommended taking the time to go explore the area. Caitlan and Jon couldn’t have chosen a better spot for their photos. It suited them perfectly. Not to mention they kind of have killer style and their outfits were perfect for this. Folks… if you’re about to do an engagement session i totally recommend bringing a second outfit. It makes for some great variety. I have to say that this session was magic. From the 75 degree weather to the beautiful docks and the lighthouse and the amazing couple I was shooting… this session was nothing short of perfect.
