Christina H | Dallas Texas Bridal Session

DallasBridals2506In February of this year, my best friend got to marry the love of her life. I was so excited about the wedding, as me and her have been best friends for nearly 22 years. It was one of those life events we had both been waiting to happen to either one of us for basically our entire lives so you can only imagine how happy I was when Ben popped the question. Since I was her maid of honor and wasn’t the one shooting the wedding, I made it a point to be able to shoot her bridals as soon as I had the chance to. I was living in Austin at the time of her wedding, so I made a trip up to Dallas to make it happen. Her dress was absolutely stunning. Tons of beadwork making beautiful intricate designs on the front of her dress, and a gorgeous V neckline that looked perfect on her. Nothing too ‘foofy’ as she put it, as she was going for a more modern yet still slightly boho look. She had originally worn a flower crown on the day of her wedding, but for this session she decided to pick up a headdress to bring out the boho feel, and also had me help her hand make a bouquet that would go along with the boho style of the session. We stopped off at whole foods earlier that morning and picked out some flowers, twine, and white sheer cloth that we could use to bundle the bouquet together with. Christina had no problems getting this bouquet put together and making it look absolutely amazing. Christina has this creative gene to where she can throw things together and make them look so beautiful. She even has her own Etsy shop to where you can buy her custom painted watercolor portraits. They’re pretty rad. All in all, I would have to say this bridal session was an utter success.
